Collection: Ceramics-伊賀焼-
Ko-Iga ceramics(IGAYAKI), originating in Japan’s Iga region during the late 16th century, are known for their rugged texture, natural ash glaze, and bold distortions shaped by intense wood-firing. Honoring and preserving the rich traditions of the Iga region, our kiln on Awaji Island continues this ancient craft using a six-chamber climbing kiln, allowing nature’s raw beauty to emerge organically. Each handcrafted piece embodies the harmony of ancestral techniques and timeless artistry.
